The Winter Park Country Club Golf Lecture Series Has Successful Debut...

The debut of the new Winter Park Country Club Lecture Series Presented by Arnold Palmer Hospital For Children took place this past Monday, March 16th and proved to be a great success. The evenings guest speaker was PGA Tour golfer Cliff Kresge. The guest emcee was "The Voice of Golf" Mr. Peter Kessler. Being the great golf story teller he is, Peter started out the presentation with some great tales of Gene Sarazen and Arnold Palmer. He then introduced Mr. Cliff Kresge and the two chatted about a variety of topics including life on the PGA Tour, Golf Coaches and tales of great players of the past. Cliff also shared his goals for the 2009 season. After the discussion between Peter and Cliff, the floor was open up to questions from the nights attendees.

As the evening concluded, a representative from the Arnold Palmer Invitational raffled off two VIP passes to the 2009 version of the API. Mr. Allen Darty of Oviedo, FL was the lucky winner.
